Rudi Paret konsiderohet nga Per\u00ebndimor\u00ebt si nj\u00eb nd\u00ebr orientalist\u00ebt m\u00eb t\u00eb njohur t\u00eb shekullit XX, por, ai nuk e trajtoi Kur\u2019anin si Fjal\u00eb Hjynore e Allahut Fuqiplot\u00eb, por si produkt historik i cili, b\u00ebri analiza me metoda kritike, gjuh\u00ebsore dhe krahasuese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The thesis titled “The Perspective of the Orientalist Rudi Paret in Qur\u2019anic Studies” ad-dresses the analysis and interpretations of the German scholar within the field of Islamic and Oriental studies, with a special focus on how he approached the Qur\u2019an. Rudi Paret is re-garded by Western scholars as one of the most well-known orientalists of the 20th century; however, he did not treat the Qur\u2019an as the Divine Word of Almighty Allah, but rather as a historical product, analyzing it using critical, linguistic, and comparative methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His approach does not represent the Islamic faith-based perspective; on the contrary, his methodology was Western in nature and carried tendencies that are not fair toward the inter-pretation of the Qur\u2019an. This thesis critically examines Paret\u2019s methods, comparing them with classical and contemporary Islamic tafsir, in order to highlight the fundamental, differ-ences in the approach to the Qur\u2019anic text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The aim of this study is to shed light on Paret\u2019s ideological positioning and the way oriental-ists like him approach the Qur\u2019an and Islam\u2014not as a matter of faith, but as an object of ac-ademic study. Our research serves to emphasize the importance of distinguishing between interpretations made by Muslim believers and external Western analyses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
