This paper explores the cultural-historical and Islamic heritage of the city of Ulcinj, beginning from antiquity up to the 20th century. The first chapter examines Ulcinj\u2019s historical development, including written sources about the city\u2019s name, various historical periods, and the early foundations of Islamic heritage until the 19th century. The second chapter focuses on Islamic religious sites such as mosques, mektebs, tekkes, t\u00fcrbes, and the Clock Tower (Sahat Kulla), providing a description of those that still exist today as well as those that have been lost over time. The third chapter highlights key personalities of the local Islamic scholarly community (ulema), emphasizing their role in Islamic religious education and the contributions they made both locally and beyond the region. This study aims to preserve collective memory and promote appreciation for the cultural and spiritual legacy of Ulcinj as an essential part of both local and national identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
