Duke qen\u00eb se trojet shqiptare, pra edhe Kosova gjenden n\u00eb nj\u00eb pozit\u00eb t\u00eb till\u00eb gjeografike, ato historikisht kan\u00eb sh\u00ebrbyer si ur\u00eb lidh\u00ebse midis kontinenteve, qytet\u00ebrimeve, kulturave e perandorive t\u00eb ndryshme. Trojet shqiptare sa jan\u00eb kufiri i par\u00eb i Per\u00ebndimit me Lindjen, po aq jan\u00eb edhe kufiri i Lindjes me Per\u00ebndimin. Prandaj shqiptar\u00ebt historikisht kan\u00eb pasur lidhje kulturore, politike, ekonomike si me Per\u00ebndimin ashtu edhe me Lindjen. Aty takohen dhe puqen k\u00ebto dy bot\u00eb. Si t\u00eb tilla, k\u00ebto troje kan\u00eb t\u00ebrhequr v\u00ebmendjen edhe t\u00eb udh\u00ebp\u00ebrshkruesve, piktor\u00ebve, diplomat\u00ebve, konsujve e misionar\u00ebve t\u00eb ndrysh\u00ebm osman\u00eb dhe evropian\u00eb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00eb mesin e tyre, padyshim m\u00eb i njohuri \u00ebsht\u00eb Evlija \u00c7elebiu (shek.. XVII) i cili i vizitoi trojet shqiptare dhe i b\u00ebri pjes\u00eb t\u00eb vepr\u00ebs s\u00eb tij dhjet\u00eb v\u00ebllimshme, t\u00eb quajtur \u201cSejj\u00e2hatn\u00e2me\u201d (Seyy\u00e2hatn\u00e2me\u201d). Vepra e Evlija \u00c7elebiut llogaritet si memoari m\u00eb i gjat\u00eb n\u00eb literatur\u00ebn klasike turke, ku n\u00eb holl\u00ebsi p\u00ebrshkroi vrojtimet dhe p\u00ebrjetimet personale, sh\u00ebnoi detaje t\u00eb panum\u00ebrta t\u00eb jet\u00ebs dhe traditave t\u00eb njer\u00ebzve q\u00eb i takonte. P\u00ebrshkroi n\u00eb holl\u00ebsi dhe pa p\u00ebrjashtim t\u00eb gjitha vendet q\u00eb i vizitoi, historin\u00eb e tyre, objektet, banor\u00ebt e qyteteve, kasabave e fshatrave sipas etnis\u00eb, gjuh\u00ebn e tyre, doket e zakonet, personalitetet e njohura etj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between Kosova and other territories that were within the Ottoman Empire, there existed common elements and circumstances, which were certainly conditioned and closely linked to the political and social developments that prevailed at that time in Kosova and the Albanian territories in particular, and in the Ottoman Empire in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the Albanian lands, including Kosova, are located in such a geographical position, they have historically served as a bridge between different continents, civilizations, cultures and empires. The Albanian lands as are much the first border between the West and the East as they are the border between the East and the West. Therefore, Albanians have historically had cultural, political, and economic ties with both the West and the East. It is where these two worlds meet and merge. As such, these lands have attracted the attention of various Ottoman and European travelers, painters, diplomats, consuls, and missionaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among them, definitely the most famous is Evliya \u00c7elebi (17th century) who visited Albanian lands and included them in his ten-volume work, called \u201cSejj\u00e2hatn\u00e2me\u201d (Seyy\u00e2hatn\u00e2me\u201d). Evliya \u00c7elebi’s work is considered the longest memoir in classical Turkish literature, where he described in detail his personal observations and experiences, and recorded countless details of the lives and traditions of the people he met. He described in detail and without exception all the places he visited, their history, objects, the inhabitants of cities, towns and villages according to ethnicity, their language, customs and traditions, famous personalities, etc. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
