Fahrush Rexhepi<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tema e k\u00ebtij masteri shqyrton kontributin e hoxhallar\u00ebve n\u00eb Maqedonin\u00eb e Veriut, si dhe pasojat e burgosjes s\u00eb tyre gjat\u00eb periudhave t\u00eb ndryshme historike, sidomos n\u00ebn regjimet totalitare dhe gjat\u00eb periudhave t\u00eb tensioneve politike. Hoxhallar\u00ebt kan\u00eb luajtur nj\u00eb rol t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsish\u00ebm n\u00eb ruajtjen dhe zhvillimin e traditave fetare, kulturore dhe edukative n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb rajon, si dhe n\u00eb forcimin e bashk\u00ebjetes\u00ebs multikulturore. Fahrush Rexhepi<\/p>\n\n\n\n This master’s thesis examines the contribution of imams in North Macedonia, as well as the consequences of their imprisonment during various historical periods, especially under totalitarian regimes and during times of political tensions. Imams have played a significant role in preserving and developing religious, cultural, and educational traditions in this region, as well as strengthening intercommunal coexistence. This study analyzes the different periods of persecution and arrest of imams, exploring the factors that influenced these events, as well as the impact of their imprisonment on Muslim communities and the broader society of North Macedonia. A key part of this research is the analysis of interfaith and political relations, as well as the evaluation of the role of imams as spiritual and intellectual leaders.
