Tema e diplomës, “Këndvështrimi i orientalistit Rudi Paret në studimet Kur’anore,” trajton analizën dhe interpretimet e studiuesit gjerman në fushën e studimeve islame dhe orientale, me fokus të veçantë në mënyrën se si ai i është qasur Kur’anit. Rudi Paret konsiderohet nga Perëndimorët si një ndër orientalistët më të njohur të shekullit XX, por, ai nuk e trajtoi Kur’anin si Fjalë Hjynore e Allahut Fuqiplotë, por si produkt historik i cili, bëri analiza me metoda kritike, gjuhësore dhe krahasuese.
Qasja e tij nuk përfaqëson perspektivën besimtare Islame, përkundrazi, metolodoligjia e tij ishte perëndimore që do të thotë me tendenca jo të ndershme ndaj komentimit të Kur’anit. Punimi ynë analizon në mënyrë kritike metodat e Rudi Paretit, duke bërë krahasimin me tefsiret klasike dhe bashkëkohore islame, për të nxjerrë në pah dallimet në qasjen ndaj teksit Kur’anor.
Ky studim ka për synim të ndriçojë pozicionimin ideologjik të Paretit dhe mënyrën se si orientalistët e tillë i afrohen Kur’anit dhe Islamit, jo si besim, po objekt studimi.
Punimi ynë shërben për të kuptuar më mirë rëndësinë e dallimit midis interpretimeve nga ana e besimtarëve myslimanë dhe analizave të jashtme perëndimore.

The thesis titled “The Perspective of the Orientalist Rudi Paret in Qur’anic Studies” ad-dresses the analysis and interpretations of the German scholar within the field of Islamic and Oriental studies, with a special focus on how he approached the Qur’an. Rudi Paret is re-garded by Western scholars as one of the most well-known orientalists of the 20th century; however, he did not treat the Qur’an as the Divine Word of Almighty Allah, but rather as a historical product, analyzing it using critical, linguistic, and comparative methods.
His approach does not represent the Islamic faith-based perspective; on the contrary, his methodology was Western in nature and carried tendencies that are not fair toward the inter-pretation of the Qur’an. This thesis critically examines Paret’s methods, comparing them with classical and contemporary Islamic tafsir, in order to highlight the fundamental, differ-ences in the approach to the Qur’anic text.
The aim of this study is to shed light on Paret’s ideological positioning and the way oriental-ists like him approach the Qur’an and Islam—not as a matter of faith, but as an object of ac-ademic study. Our research serves to emphasize the importance of distinguishing between interpretations made by Muslim believers and external Western analyses.
