Ky punim me titull “Pikëpamjet e Angelika Neuwirth ndaj Kuranit – Analizë dhe Kritikë” trajton në mënyrë të hollësishme qasjen e orientalistes gjermane Angelika Neuwirth ndaj tekstit kuranor, me theks të veçantë në projektin e saj shkencor “Corpus Coranicum”. Qëllimi kryesor është të shqyrtohet mënyra se si Neuwirth e paraqet Kuranin jo si shpallje hyjnore, por si tekst letrar dhe historik i epokës së vonë antike dhe të analizohen këto koncepte në raport me akiden dhe traditën islame. Nëpërmjet analizës krahasuese ndërmjet qasjes perëndimore dhe asaj islame, punimi vlerëson ndikimin e Neuwirth në fushën e studimeve kuranore bashkëkohore, duke theksuar si kontributin e saj në zhvillimin akademik, ashtu edhe mangësitë që dalin nga mungesa e pranimimit të origjinës hyjnore të Kuranit. Përmes argumenteve teologjike, historike dhe gjuhësore, autori synon të paraqesë një kundërpërgjigje të arsyetuar dhe akademike, e cila ruan respektin për kërkimin shkencor, por mbron autenticitetin e shpalljes kuranore. Në përfundim, punimi thekson nevojën që studiuesit myslimanë të jenë të përgatitur intelektualisht për të dialoguar dhe për t’u përballur me qasje të tilla jokorrekte, duke ruajtur ekuilibrin midis kërkimit shkencor dhe besimit fetar.

This thesis, titled “Angelika Neuwirth’s Views on the Qur’an – Analysis and Critique”, provides an in-depth examination of the German orientalist Angelika Neuwirth’s approach to the Qur’anic text, with a particular focus on her scholarly project “Corpus Coranicum.” The main objective is to explore how Neuwirth interprets the Qur’an not as a divine revelation, but as a literary and historical text that emerged within the context of Late Antiquity and to critically analyze these interpretations from the perspective of Islamic creed (aqidah) and traditional scholarship. Through a comparative analysis between Western and Islamic approaches, the study evaluates Neuwirth’s influence on contemporary Quranic studies, highlighting both her academic contributions and the theological shortcomings arising from her denial of the Quran’s divine origin. Drawing on theological, linguistic, and historical arguments, this research aims to present a balanced and academically grounded response, one that respects scientific inquiry while affirming the authenticity of divine revelation. Ultimately, the study emphasizes the need for Muslim scholars to be intellectually prepared to engage with modern orientalist perspectives, maintaining a balance between academic reasoning and faith-based understanding.
