Tema e këtij punimi trajton edukimin e fëmijëve në Islam, duke e vendosur atë në kontekstin e sfidave dhe mundësive që paraqet koha moderne. Edukimi i fëmijëve është një nga përgjegjësitë më të rëndësishme në Islam dhe një proces që fillon që në moshën e hershme, ku përfshihen aspektet morale, shpirtërore, intelektuale dhe shoqërore të zhvillimit të tyre. Në këtë punim shqyrtohen parimet Islame mbi edukimin e fëmijëve, të mbështetur në Kuran dhe Sunet, si dhe ndikimi që kanë zhvillimet bashkëkohore si globalizimi, teknologjia, interneti dhe ndryshimet kulturore në mënyrën e përcimit të këtyre vlerave.

Gjithashtu, bëhet një analizë krahasuese midis metodave tradicionale islame të edukimit dhe praktikave edukative moderne, me qëllim që të indetifikohen pikat e përbashkëta dhe sfidat që dalin në zbatim.

Vëmendje e vecantë i kushtohet rolit të prindërve, institucionit të familjes, komunitetit dhe shkollave islame në ruajtjen e indetitetit fetar dhe moral të fëmijëve në një shoqëri në ndryshim të shpejtë. Në përfundim, punimi ofron rekomandime praktike për një qasje të balancuar që ndërthur vlerat islame me realitetin e kohës moderne, duke synuar edukimin e fëmijëve si individë të përgjegjshëm, të ditur dhe të ndërgjegjshëm në raport me besimin dhe shoqërinë.

This thesis addresses the education of children in Islam by placing it in the context of the challenges and opportunities presented by the modern times. The education of children is one of the most important responsibilities in Islam and is a process that begins at an early age, encompassing moral, spirtual, intellectual, an social aspects of their developments. This study exmaines Islamic principles on the education of children, based on the Quran and the Sunnah, and analyzes the impact of contemporary developments such as globalization, technology, the internet, and cultural changes on the transmission of these values

Furthermore, the thesis offers a comperative analysis between traditional Islamic educational methods and modern educational practices, with the aim of identifying common points and the challenges that arise in implementation. Special attention is given to the role of parents, the institution of the family, the community, and Islamic schools in preserving the religious and moral identity of children in a repidly changing society.

In conclusion, the study provides practical recommendations for a balanced approach that aligns Islamic values with the realities of modern times, aiming to educate children as responsible, knowledgeable, and conscious individuals, aware of their faith and their role within society.
