Shëndeti është një ndër mirësitë më madhore që i është dhuruar njeriut nga Zoti i Madhëruar dhe si i tillë, gëzon një vlerësim të veçantë në mësimet islame. Ndërkohë që sëmundja trajtohet si sprovë dhe mundësi për rritje shpirtërore, feja islame inkurajon kërkimin aktiv të shërimit dhe trajtimit, duke e konsideruar këtë si pjesë e besimit në urtësinë dhe kaderin e Zotit. Në këtë kuadër, infertiliteti përfaqëson një sfidë të veçantë për individin dhe shoqërinë, me ndikime që shtrihen përtej kufijve mjekësorë, duke përfshirë dimensione etike, psikologjike, fetare dhe ligjore.

Ky studim trajton çështjen e infertilitetit dhe fertilizimit të asistuar mjekësor në një kontekst ndërdisiplinor, duke ndriçuar qasjen e Islamit ndaj trajtimit të këtij fenomeni, sfidave morale që lindin, si dhe përputhshmërisë së këtyre praktikave me dispozitat islame dhe kornizat ligjore pozitive. Me theks të veçantë në ruajtjen e dinjitetit njerëzor dhe kufijve të lejuar nga Sheriati, punimi eksploron balancën ndërmjet nevojës për trajtim dhe respektimit të parimeve fetare e ligjore.

Ky hulumtim synon të kontribuojë në ndërgjegjësimin dhe udhëzimin e çifteve dhe profesionistëve të fushës, përmes një analize të thelluar që ndërthur njohuritë shkencore mjekësore me orientimet etike dhe fetare islame, duke ofruar një qasje të matur dhe të dobishme për trajtimin e infertilitetit në kohën bashkëkohore.

Health is among the greatest blessings granted to mankind by Almighty God and, as such, holds a special place in Islamic teachings. While illness is viewed as a trial and an opportunity for spiritual growth, the Islamic faith encourages the active pursuit of healing and treatment, considering it a part of belief in God’s wisdom and divine decree (qadar). Within this framework, infertility represents a particular challenge for individuals and society, with implications that extend beyond medical boundaries, encompassing ethical, psychological, religious, and legal dimensions.

This study addresses the issue of infertility and medically assisted fertilization from an interdisciplinary perspective, shedding light on Islam’s approach to the treatment of this phenomenon, the moral dilemmas it raises, and the compatibility of these practices with Islamic rulings and positive legal frameworks. With a special focus on preserving human dignity and adhering to the limits permitted by Sharia, the paper explores the balance between the need for treatment and the observance of religious and legal principles.

This research aims to contribute to the awareness and guidance of couples and professionals in the field through an in-depth analysis that combines scientific medical knowledge with ethical and Islamic religious orientations, offering a thoughtful and beneficial approach to the treatment of infertility in contemporary times.
